Stamptacular Sunday: Seasons Change

This week at the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge our challenge was to create a card using colors of FALL! Our sponsor this week is Magnolicious who has graciously donated the prize below. I decided to go pumpkin on my, I have spied my first pumpkins showing up at the local stores and farmers market around here and it put me in the "pumpkin" mood! I started with my sentiment stamped it, I then stamped my basket of pumpkins and cut it out on another sheet. I then drew a box using a ruler and then layered my pumpkins and pumpkin basket around my new frame. I then layered it with my ribbon. I then decided to add some pumpkin tendrils by using wire that I had wrapped around a skewer.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: Sketch

This week on the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge our challenge was a sketch...I just love sketches, takes so much guess work out of the design... I personally collect sketches for inspiration for future use...I just copy and past my sketch to a document, print it out and 3 hole punch it into my card sketch binder (I also have a scrapbook sketch binder too).

Anyway, this week our sponsor is one of my fav's:

Prize: $15 gift certificate

I adore her images...as you can see below...such fun! I used one of Mo Manning's images for this sweet little birthday card...I love this little baby holding the bear...so sweet!

To come later...I'm at a horse show and must look up some of the items I used...sorry....

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: Distress It

This week on the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge our challenge was to Distress our item via any means possible...ink it, sand it, crumple it, wrinkle it...what a fun fun challenge!

Our sponsors this week are
My Favorite Things (who graciously donated the DT's stamps for the project)
Prize: $25 Gift Certificate
and
Prize: 4 Digital Images
My card this week card this week uses an image from a line called Pure Innocence, the stamp is called "Are we there yet" which can be found at My Favorite Things. I just adore this line...I love the adorable, yet simple images in this line.
For my distressing I decided to ink my edges of the card, of the flourishes, and I also decided to distress the white cardstock by sanding and piercing.... giving it a more aged look. I also decided to pull out my colored pencils and Gamsol and color this little gal in, although I did use Copics for her skin. This was such a fun little card to put together...thanks for joining me today, I can't wait to see what you come up with!
