Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: Pretty in Pink

This week at the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is a color challenge...and my favorite to create in...PINK! Our challenge was to make a creation using Pink! You can use black or pink as a background, but the main color of your creation must be PINK... love it!
Our sponsor this week is Magnoliacious and that graciously donated the Magnolia stamp below.

Ever see something in a magazine and you just "have to recreate it"? I saw these wonderful masks for Halloween in this month's Scrapbooks Etc. and I've been on a mission to recreate it them...in my own way of course! So I used their template, found HERE, and shrunk it (it is about 1/4 of the size) to put on my card... I stamped it, blinged it up and used 1 feather to give it a little flair. I then added a little star wand that was a party favor (6 for $1 at Dollar Tree) and added a bow to that. I then layed the whole thing on crepe paper that I ran a stitch through and gathered lightly. I then put everything on my paper that is stitched and then added my little tickets in the corner. I'm so glad you could join me today...I can't wait to see what PINK thing you come up with!

Recipe:

  • Stamps: Papertrey Ink Just the Ticket and Fancy Flourishes

  • Ink: CTMH Bubblegum and Memento Tuxedo

  • Die: Papertrey Ink Just the Ticket

  • Paper: Paper Studio

  • Other: Wand via Dollar Tree, Organza Ribbon, Crepe Paper, Thread, Feather, Rhinestones, Feather

What a clever idea to add that wand! This is a fabulous card! Wouldnt this be lovely for a little girl to congratulate her on her dance recital??
