A Fun Frilled "Hello"

I decided to join the Fun Frilled Blog Challenge this week (they were the very kind challenge blog that sent me the $300 Just Rite prize package...umm...WOW!)... anyway, the theme is SUMMER!

So I decided to go with Summery colors, bright yellow, red and green! That speaks summer to me. I used this adorable image, Susie Squirrel by Digital Stamp Oasis, isn't she just the cutest? She was colored in Copics and layered.

Do you like my flower? It's my own creation, it's felt RIC RAC! I didn't have anything embellishmenty I thought was appropriate for this card (in the color I wanted), but I had ric rac...so I made this flower...what I did was punch a circular piece of cardstock, stick a glue dot in the middle and formed my flower around it...I then topped it with a buttom...super easy and I'm thrilled with the result. I've had this ric rac for.ever. and I'm so glad I found a use for it!

Thanks for joining me today! Recipe below...
