Digital Tuesday Challenge: Masculine

This week on the Digital Tuesday Challenge our challenge was masculine cards. I decided to go with another image by Mo Manning (and psst, she's moved her etsy store...here's her blog so you can "read all about it!").

Our sponsor this week is Cutting Cafe who generously donated shapes to each of the DT members. Did you know that each of the Cutting Cafe files can be hand OR machine cut? I don't have the program to machine cut, but hand cut I did...and it was uber easy! Be sure to check them out...lots of wonderful card shapes! They are also donating this week's prize...3 images of the winners choice...ya gotta like that!

Anyway, onto my card, I colored my image in with Copics (and added the grass with a few flicks of my pens) and then I sponged the outside with ink to make it not so stark white, then cut out with my circle nestabilities. I then took a strip of black paper and made several small cuts into to make my "fringe" and added my tag (which is actually a recycled clothing tag, just flipped over) and added my fringe and tied it all together. I then cut out my frames for my actual card and assembled everything, easy peasy! Thanks for joining me today!
Recipe:
  • Digital Image: Mo's Digital Pencil
  • Paper: The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
  • Card Shape: The Cutting Cafe
  • Other: Circle Nestabilities, Giddy Up Star by Flair, Twine and Recycled Clothing Tag
