This week on the
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge, the challenge is to incorporate weaving into your paper project. We have two sponsors this week:
and

For my project this week I decided on a woven heart basket, I remember making these as an elementary school student at my grandmother's for something to do on a long weekend. I will say the thinner the paper the easier it is too make... I created my heart basket using
this template from Handwoven Magazine. After the basket was completed, I decided to ink the edges and the weave and added a snowflake I cut out with my Cricut (Joys of the Season Cart) and then stamped in with a background text stamp (Paper Trey Ink). I then added my sentiment and my icicles which have been glittered... thanks for looking and I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend!

Recipe:
- Stamps: Paper Trey Ink; text background, Stocking Stuffer
- Paper: Joann's
- Punches: Martha Stewart; Icicle border punch, Branches and smaller snowflake, Cricut; Joys of the Season Cart for the Large snowflake
- Other: Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glitter

This is so pretty Paula. I've made these too...with my Girl Scout troop. It probably wasn't the best idea for (8) 7 year olds:) I love the icicles too. Very soft and stunning.
Very pretty, Paula!
