Joanne.
NOTE: Matting your card, it's also layering pieces of paper on your card, I hope this clear any confusion! If you need an example my melon card below...the green paper is a mat for the pink hearts paper.
BONUS...BONUS...BONUS...BONUS...Before you go, I have an extra prize up for grabs! Please leave me a comment and let me know what you like the most about our Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog! Here's the prize one lucky winner will receive...
And now onto our "Regular" Challenge, a shaped card...Did you see the dt's shaped cards? Wow, they all have fab projects this week! I decided to do a watermelon, I used my Nestabilities Circles and used the largest two circles, I then used my sizzix swirl, sent it through my Xyron X and glittered it, added it to my flowers and my stamped tag and decided to add some more bling with some rhinestones...it was easy peasy! I just love all the bright colors of this card...so summery! Thanks for joining me today!

The best thing about SSC is definitely the versatility in the challenges. And this time you have really outdone yourselves - bloghopping to build a card, that's just amazingly creative!

Can I say everything? I look forward to each weeks challenge and can't wait to see what's next!
I had some difficulties understanding your element on the build-a-card challenge. What is matt/matting? Can you please try to explain? So sorry to bother you with such a question, but being norwegian its not always one can understand everything, and I would love to participate:-)
Hugs from Hilde/Paperaddict

Hi Paula, what a lovely melon card! :) Love the colors!
What I like about Stamptacular is that they have fun challenges and that I go there for challenges when I want to have fun making a card and not knowing that I need to get it done! :) So looking forward to seeing this card building at the end. A great bonus challenge! :)
