I was over on Split Coast Stampers on their forum and just discovered a fantastic tip for all us thrifty crafters.... ready for it?
Use cereal boxes for chipboard for your cards (not sure how ac/lf they would be to scrapbook)! Just cut the cereal box up and run it through your diecut machine...a couple of gals over there have also run them through their Cricuts...
So there's your thrifty tip of the day!

I used to do that all the time with my sizzix. I didn't think the Cricut could cut it. Maybe it needs the heavy duty blade?

You can also use the backs of paper pads and those big chipboard envelope mailers.
